torsional tuesday......

who says 15 year old boys cant use the cricut? well mine sure whipped out some images for a project in greek mythology. been super busy with daughters school- we did a "survivor" like day to prepare for upcoming EOG's and i must be honest...it was fun. we had buffs for our tribe and we got to travel to different places in the school for different classes. the kids could search for a hidden immunity idol in each room , which held a homework pass and several prizes. my only complaint was no tribal council , i had one kid i desperately wanted to vote out!!! no seriously it was a fun day, and creative way to prepare stress-free for EOG's.

monday's challenge.....

here is my take on the bbtb2's challenge this week.i used a simple a-2 card ,scored with my new martha stewart scoreboard. i used plain black cardstock, and the cut was the ice-cream tab from the cricut cart from my kitchen- i cut it at 3 1/2. i used wild card to cut enjoy out at 6 1/2. the patterned paper was sei perfect petals and the rhinestones were martha stewart, pink and teal papers were scraps. hope you "enjoy" my take on the challenge!

my first share....

okay this is not my first card but my first card made for a specific contest! i made this card for the bitten by the bug2 blog- i would love to win a magnolia stamp...i love them ...even tho' honestly i only have one stamp...i am a work in progress! i stamped the background, cut out the umbrella from everyday paperdolls- in 2in"-2 1/2"- 3"--- paper-pieced them to match my stamped image which i stickled and used bic markers on. i just love the faces on these magnolia stamps...reminds me of my childhood, kind-of holly-hobby-ish
